In depth
A closer look at Hotkeycontrol
Hotkeycontrol Once you launch it, the program places an icon in the Windows system tray that lets you enable and disable hotkey monitoring but also to access its configuration screen and change the standard shortcuts. Basically, the program needs to be running for your hotkeys to work, but the tray icon also allows you to temporarily disable monitoring for the selected configuration. Speaking of settings, the configuration panel is the place where you may spend most of the time because it allows you to assign your hotkeys to the desired action, like opening a file or running a program.
