What is Network Unplugged?
is a tool for mobile users that replicates the network files, the network structure, and the network look-and-feel onto the laptop.
In depth
A closer look at Network Unplugged
It works by letting you identify the groups of network files that you want to take on the road. Then each time you are ready to detach, click the mouse and an image of the office network moves to your laptop. From that point on, you work on your files as if you are fully connected. When you're ready to reattach to your network, directly or over a phone line, you simply click the mouse again and only the affected files are completely and automatically resynchronized.
