lets you associate multiple applications with a file extension, and prevent other programs from changing file associations.Referee lets you associate multiple applications with a file extension, and access any of the applications from Windows Explorer. So, for example, you could associate HTML files with your Web browser and your HTML editor. Right-clicking on an HTML file in Windows Explorer would bring up the Referee menu that lets you select the application to use to open the HTML file with.
Referee also prevents program installations from taking over file types. Referee guards the system Registry and gives you the choice to accept or reject the new file associations.
