Calendar Maker uses intuitive dialogs to guide you through the process of adding, deleting, changing, and viewing your calendar entries. It features five types of calendars: birthdays and anniversaries, each with two styles of output; holidays; floating holidays, for events that do not occur on the same date every year, such as Thanksgiving and Memorial Day; and other, for events that do not fall into any of the previously-mentioned categories.

You can include a title and up to two headings, customize colors and fonts, use the companion event-scheduling utility, and set the month, year, title, and heading alignments.

The program also runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar.
