Marathon

It is a first-person action game released for macintosh in 1994. The game was created by bungie, developers of the halo and destiny sagas, among others. A gameplay experience similar to that of these two franchises as far as concept goes marathon offers a gameplay experience that is very similar. In 1999 ppbungie released the code for marathon 2 which led to the development of aleph one an open-source engine capable of running the marathon trilogy on modern computers. It is precisely the engine used in this version of the game aleph one. It lets you, among other things, play at high resolutions and in widescreen format, as well as customize many other options, both graphic and control. Ppmarathon is an excellent first-person shooter that came out for context only a year after the original doom series. Almost exclusively the game has a more complex story told through a series of terminals spread across the spaceship in which the adventure takes place but a slightly slower action sequence. It's as surprising as it may seem that the result is closer to the experience half-life would provide years later. This spf is one of the great spfs of the 1990s which remains relatively unknown despite its great importance in the genre. It is fortunately possible thanks to this free and open-source version on any modern computer regardless of the operating system.
