is a command-line key expander which allows you to redefine any key to output a string of characters or control codes.
You can save and load key files, perform pop-up editing on them at any time, and define keys with an optional record mode.
You can also vary the definition buffer size for small or large needs, turn the program on and off instantly, toggle the "Caps Lock" and "Num Lock" keys in a macro, and set automatic capitalization at the beginning of every sentence.
DDKEY lets you pause within a macro, accept user input, reassign and chain macros, blank the screen, and modify the cursor.
In addition, the program includes a 24-hour alarm, a print-screen-to-file function, an ASCII table, the ability to run in color or monochrome modes, and the Dvorak keyboard layout.
