A closer look at iRecover
iRecover is a powerful, Windows based, read-only data recovery utility for FAT, FAT32, NTFS and Ext2 file systems with RAID 0 + 5 reconstruction capability. It also offers a (freeware) digital image recovery mode. iRecover recovers data even if the hard drive's partition table, boot record, FAT/MFT or root directory is lost or damaged due to virus attacks, accidentally formatted or repartitioned disks, power failures, accidental deletion etc.. iRecover can even reconstruct data of missing or corrupt RAID 5 members. During the recovery iRecover monitors the hard disk condition through observing SMART attributes, it will pause if needed (temperature too high) or warn if it is dangerous to continue.
