Archive XP is a zip and archive utility that integrates with Windows to provide easy to use archive extraction and creation functionality. It supports just about any archive format, including Zip, 7z, CAB, ACE, RAR, ARC, LZH, ARJ, ZOO, GZ, GZIP, LHA, TAR, BH, BZ, BZ2, cpio, HA, JAR, RPM, TGZ, Z and ZLIB, and several others. The program combines 5 different applications that range from easy to use wizard interfaces to commandline tools and an Archive Studio, which allows for advanced archive management. The Archive Folders mode allows you to handle zip files just as if they were regular folders - just click on the file and they will open in a familiar Windows folder-style interface. The optional Light interface allows you to manage archive files the traditional way (e.g WinZip style). The functionality of the program can be extended, using plug-ins; several of them are freely available, including an option for Outlook users to automatically zip outgoing email attachments.
