A closer look at SmartBoard (16-bit)
This is different from the standard Windows Clipboard that lets you store only one piece of information (clip-item). As items are added to the clipboard, they are organized into 4 categories of data: Text; Bitmap; Metafile and Other. To paste data into a current application, simply select the item from the SmartBoard display, and press Enter to insert the item. All the "clip-data" you collect across Windows sessions is saved, so you can find and re-paste an item you copied yesterday, even if you've turned off your computer. You can also search for text within clip items, edit text items, add categories and subcategories to further organize the items, give a nickname to an item to help you more easily identify it, assign a keyboard shortcut to an item, save items to a file, print items, and more.
