Overview

What is ABack?

is a command-line backup utility which allows you to use any one of the four supported archivers: ARJ, JAR, RAR, and PKZIP.

In depth

A closer look at ABack

You simply specify the destination file, the selected subdirectories to be backed up, and the archiver to be used, and the program generates a file entitled ABACK.CNF which includes all the information.

It then copies all the files mentioned in the ABACK.CNF file, packs them with your pre-selected archiver, and backs them up onto floppy disks.
