The program secures your critical data by duplicating it from one computer location to another. It works by checking a list of input folders at regular time intervals and updating output folders with any new or modified files, thus "mirroring" your important folders.

Idem is distinguishable from other mirroring or clustering products by its ability to fully preserve Macintosh filenames and structures stored on a Windows NT 4.0 Server running SFM on NTFS partitions.

Installation dialogs are in French, but the program offers a choice of English, French, and Portuguese.
