is a programmable virtual assistant that helps you manage your e-mail, calendar events, contacts, tasks and journal items.
CyberSecretary adds many new functions to Outlook, including maintaining a diary folder, handling expense account items, making tasks of incoming messages, saving messages as files and linking them to Journal items, taking phone messages, and more. The program works by using scripts that are triggered by Outlook events (e.g. receiving messages, sending messages, opening a contact, etc.), which are scheduled to occur at specific times (daily or on specified days) when the user clicks on the CyberSecretary desk tray icon, or even randomly. Scripts are highly customizable but can be easily created. CyberSecretary can also perform Internet-related tasks such as monitoring stock prices, getting street maps, or sending Web pages to mail recipients.
CyberSecretary is an ActiveX component, and Visual Basic programmers can use the DLL to write programs and utilities using the CyberSecretary user interface.
