Overview

What is JVision?

gives you quick UML object diagrams from Java code.

In depth

A closer look at JVision

JVision lets you keep documentation up-to-date with a single source approach. When your code changes it updates diagrams with one click. Diagrams can be printed or pasted into other applications for easy collaboration with others. The filters allow you to fine tune the level of detail displayed.

JVision features include: the ability to use it as a graphical browser by double clicking classes in a diagram to edit source code; the ability to generate an entire Web site of your diagrams that is integrated with Sun's JavaDoc; a forward and reverse engineering tool designed especially for Java programmers; a notation system, UML, the Unified Modeling Language, which has emerged as an industry standard; the ability to visualize the context of a class by adding superclasses, subclasses, or related classes to a diagram; and the ability to zoom out to shrink a large diagram and then use the viewport to zoom in on a selected area.
