A closer look at COMplete
COMplete uses RDO/DAO and database-specific stored procedures to gather information. After the structure of the database is read, you choose a table, and a grid of information is displayed with the table specifics.
You can then generate stored procedures (for non-Access databases), COM data objects using ADO or RDO technology (which use the stored procedures), VB 5 and 6 Client/Server forms, ASP entry and modification forms, ASP search forms, and ASP report forms. These forms fit into a pre-built and tested container web application.
The application includes multi-browser support, timeout recovery of all fields on forms, a "view-before-commit" feature for field changes, and a calendar control HTML form for entry of date fields.
It has been tested using Access, SQL Server, Oracle, and Sybase databases.
