Visual Prolog contains everything needed for building large scale applications including a compiler, a linker and a large library with bindings to a range of specialized API's. It allows for graphical editing of dialogs, menus, toolbars, and more.

Visual Prolog contains four code experts: an application expert, a window expert, a dialog expert, and a toolbar expert. The application expert generates all the basic parts of a new application, such as a project file, source files, menus, toolbars, icons, bitmaps and a help file. The window expert automatically generates Prolog clauses that handle the various events from the windowing system. The dialog expert automates creating dialogs. The toolbar expert can assist you by generating default code for toolbar handling.
