Key Information is a non-SQL database mangement system written as a server process for Windows NT. The server is enabled to any networked client that can connect to the host's named pipe IPC facility.

Key Information has a built-in record locking mechanism that allows any number of users to simultaneously update the database. It handles all of the storage and indexing for you, and has real-time logging to protect against power failures and other problems. The program also offers secure transaction bounding to maintain data integrity.

To access Key Information, you can use a C Macro Interface, a raw C Interface, or use the Catalyst program by the same author.
