Overview
What is Swarm?
Screensaver that looks like bees chasing a wasp.Actually this screeensaver is a particle system based on gravity properties of
objects.Several settings are possible like setting the screensaver with the lowest system
priority, thereby making it possible to run the screensaver even on servers
(if you dare).Setting colors, number of bees, diffusion, acceleration etc.
In depth
A closer look at Swarm
are also possible. It runs in a network with 291 Win'XP pc's for a few years now without any problems.
The advantage when compared to other screensavers including the ones supplied
with Windows is that any network messages are passed through. This is because
the screensaver window is not on the foreground unlike the others. Also it does not slow down other processes when run at low priority.
