A closer look at TStatusLine VCL
The TStatusLine component is a row of panels, usually aligned at the bottom of the form, that display information about the application as it runs. Each panel is represented by a TStatPanel object listed in the Panels property. The SimplePanel property can be used to toggle the status bar at runtime between a single-panel and multiple-panel display.
TStatusLine VCL provides some special panels. It includes panels that can truncate long text strings, but show the full string in hints; display a Caps lock, Num lock or Scroll lock indicator; display the current date and time; display an image with text on the panel; display a progress meter; display application hints; and display a busy status.
