The control uses a combination of Device Independent Bitmaps (DIBs), ImageLists, dynamic arrays, streams, bit-level manipulation and multi-threading for optimal performance. The latest version of the system offers stretchable playback of animations, a pre-rendering option for maximum playback performance and full sprite-based transparent blitting to any window or direct to the desktop.
