PicZilla lets you automatically search selected Usenet newsgroups for articles that contain images and download them. It includes built-in image viewers, logging and filtering capabilities, and the ability to run in the background.
The program also features a special effects console which enables you to zoom, rotate, and print any retrieved image, as well as the ability to view individual message headers, and display images as a slideshow with pause, loop, and delay functions.
