Overview
What is hCrypt?
Restrict access to specific Web pages by encrypting and password-protecting them
In depth
A closer look at hCrypt
hCrypt is a friendly and easy-to-use program that helps you encrypt and password-protect Web pages that are not intended for public access. The program features clear wizard-style interface that enables you to process multiple files at a time and configure various advanced protection settings in a few simple steps. For strong protection you can use powerful Blowfish (448 bit encryption, password length up to 56 symbols) and GOST (256 bit encryption, password length 32 symbols) encryption algorithms. To protect less sensitive information, you may use simple but extremely fast XOR encryption. You can customize the appearance of the password prompt (fonts, colors, text), compress the encrypted page and choose not to encrypt the page header and META tags. hCrypt features the full range of command line options enabling you to automate recurring tasks (e.g. run hCrypt from a batch file to encrypt modified files before uploading them to the server), call hCrypt from other applications and more. hCrypt is a member of the family of Raysion security and content management tools that includes other specialized tools (code optimization utility hTune and security tool hWard) and a multifunctional software Advanced HTMLCoder.
