In depth
A closer look at Folder Organizer
Windows File Explorer is your basic navigation method, fitted with a lot of links to quickly access and process files and locations of interest. There are some alternatives you can use in this regard, and Folder Organizer proves to be quite the example, letting you manage different tools and access folders from the tray area. The application’s options menu shows up when it’s first launched so you can set up a few things. On the one hand, there’s the option to have the program start with Windows, and define run mode, which can be in tray, hidden, or exit when the session ends. Moreover, you can define a list of custom folders to open, what to clear, and what to open on exit. When all configurations are in order, the application is accessible from the tray area. A right-click on the icon brings up a small menu with different actions such as cleaning particular folders, opening configured and preset locations, or even change the screen resolution.
