It also provides connection information, including the bytes sent, bytes received, connection speed, and connection time. In addition, Duax displays blinking lights when data is sent or received. It can log connection data to disk and it can display the brand, type or name of your modem.

Duax automatically starts up whenever a modem connection is established. The default connect and disconnect sounds can be replaced with WAV sound files of your choice. Duax optionally plays a sound at preset intervals to remind you that the modem is still online, always or only when the connection is idle. Duax also detects and monitors connections initiated by other applications.
