TeamWave Workplace combines real-time groupware technologies such as shared whiteboards, chat rooms, and customizable groupware tools with a persistent work environment. The model for Workplace comes from real-life team meeting rooms, which provide a shared space for a workgroup. Team members can enter the room at the same time and work together synchronously, or work on tasks individually which they can share with others asynchronously. Rooms come already stocked with useful tools like whiteboards, but you can add tools and objects that are specific to your team's work. Your team can easily customize the rooms to suit your specific tasks.

TeamWave integrates well with Microsoft Netmeeting. There are Macintosh and Unix versions of the program available from the author's Web site.
