In depth
A closer look at PLV: Picture Library Viewer
Simply choose a folder from your computer or a floppy disk, and all of the .BMP, .JPG, and .GIF files are automatically added to the project. You can then view all of the images with the ease of clicking "Next" or "Back". If an image is too large, it is simply resized to fit in a 300x300 piel square, with little or no lost proportionality. The main function of PLV is that by clicking "Save", all of the images in the current project can be converted into a single small .plf file. The .plf file may or may not be password protected, it's up to the user who saves it. This single file can be copied or E-Mailed with ease. The .plf files can then be loaded into PLV and viewed with ease. There is even a "Save Single" funcion, which saves the currently displayed image as a .BMP onto the user's hard drive or a floppy disk. This way, by sending someone a single .plf file, they can easily choose which images they would like to save on their computer. Windows Only.
