helps students, writers, public speakers, and scholars store, organize, and work with quotations and notes.
You can organize your thoughts by working with stacks of "index cards" on your Windows desktop. Each citation includes the following four fields: author, bibliography, body, and category. You can copy the entire citation into the Windows Clipboard for use with other programs (like your favorite word processor).
In the main program screen you can easily move from citation to citation using the arrow keys, or by scrolling through the list of quotations.
You can sort the citations alphabetically by author, by category, or in the order in which citations were entered into Quotebase. You can also view only a subset of your citations using the filter function. You can filter on the author, bibliography, or category fields.
You can search on every word in the body of a citation. Searches can be complex expressions which may include the following logical expression: like, near, not, and, or.
Quotebase also includes a spellchecker.
