In depth
Paper Air Force is an educational program as well. It provides some information about WWI, WWII, and the Korean, Vietnam, and Persian Gulf wars. For each war it covers the major dates and events, little known facts, countries involved, fighter planes involved, top aces, and detailed information about a feature pilot. This information can be viewed on screen or printed.
The program also includes a section that teaches you about the principles that allow a plane to fly. It covers Bernoulli's Principle, lift and wings, forces on a plane, parts of a plane, and tips to help you fly your own paper airplanes.
It also includes a section with tips on constructing the paper planes, which covers folding, glueing, making tubes and cones, and adding finishing details.
For ages 9 and up.
