It's easy to draw your own designs using full stitches, half stitches, and back stitches. Other drawing tools include auto-backstitch, straight lines, filled rectangle, filled circle, fill, text, and undo. Other features include color replace, zoom, color palette sorting options, and more. If you can't draw, you can also import clip art or scanned photos.

When you have finished designing your pattern you can print out a symbol or color chart, with a key to the threads used, and an estimate of thread usage.
