Know the value of your book collection, where to locate your books (including books lent out to friends or patrons), or review a variety of statistical information about your library. Track a multitude of information about your books including title, author, description, publisher, editor, book type, volume, issue, year published, edition, pages, purchase date, where purchased, catalog number, 2 sub-catalog numbers, dewey decimal, ISBN, category, key words, rating, location, cost, value, low and high market values, whether the book has been loaned out (if so, the date and person), book condition, plus 6 user-definable fields for any other information. If you have similar items to input, save time by using the copy function. The Viewer lets you customize how your information is displayed on the screen. Display only those database items that you want to see. Specify the order in which they appear. Adjust the font size. Edit data directly from the Viewer, and use pull-down list boxes and check boxes. Rename any of the field names. Change colors and add grid lines. The program also features powerful search capabilities to search on one field or multiple fields, or search for different items in the same field (e.g. find all paperback books). You can also search for numeric and date values (e.g. find items less than, greater than, less than "x" but greater than "y", or equal to the number or date entered). Print one of the 8 pre-defined reports, or create your own custom report.
