Visual Image Dock main allows small businesses to store scanned documents in an indexed database for easy retrieval. Graphic artists can also use this system to archive their work. Visual Image Dock does not support direct acquisition from scanners.

Features of this program include a preview window with folder browsing for adding images, an OLE insert for adding new files to the database, OLE activation for editing images in their native application, an optional auto delete when adding images, and password protection.
