Overview
Sync your Address Book/iCal between Macs and digital devices.
In depth
iSync works on all Macintosh computers running Mac OS X version 10.2.1 (Jaguar) or later, with iCal installed, and it works with all iPod models. You'll need to store your contact information in the Mac OS X Address Book and your calendar information in iCal for iSync Public Beta to work.
Only iSync-compatible mobile phones and Palm OS devices will work with iSync. All Palm OS devices that work with Palm Desktop 4.0 for Mac OS X will work with iSync. You need to have Palm Desktop 4.0 (or later) installed to use iSync Public Beta to synchronize the information on your Palm OS device. iSync Public Beta release is not final production software. Because you may encounter errors with the software, Apple recommends that you backup your calendar and Address Book data before using the iSync Public Beta. Apple also recommends that all customers read the Release Notes before using iSync Public Beta for the first time. Palm users should read the Release Notes to understand features that are not supported in iSync at this time.
