EcoBeakerHS? is a collection of inquiry-based computer laboratories for courses covering topics in ecology, environmental science, and evolution. The complete package includes ten laboratories, each based on a different real-world ecological system. EcoBeakerHS allows students to explore concepts by making observations and conducting ?virtual experiments? guided by online instructions. A Student Workbook provides worksheets (which can be photocopied and handed out) for each lab. A Teacher's Guide aligns each lab to national science standards, presents additional information and resources relevant to the labs, and provides suggestions for discussions, activities, and assessment. EcoBeakerHS has been particularly popular with AP Biology and AP Environmental Science instructors; however, the labs can easily be modified to make them more or less challenging depending on particular needs.
