How do I install ? Double-Click DMGscissor.pkg to install. DMGscissor will be placed into /Applications/Utilities.

How do I use DMGscissor? Double-click DMGscissor to run the program. In the main window, select the size of the DMG segments, and then click Start button. Locate the original DMG file and select a directory for the DMG pieces. DMGscissor will create the .dmgpart files which are the DMG pieces. Leave all those dmgpart files in the same directory. Double-click the first dmgpart file which has no sequence number. After that, the Mac OS X Finder will mount them into one DMG file.

What is the usage? If you have a large DMG file, you can split it into several dmgpart files. That is a good way to backup your data. A email SMTP server usually allows data size around 3 to 5 MB to be sent. A small size of dmgpart file is easy to send thru internet. Small size dmgpart files send thru internet will not kill your network speed. A way to burn a huge DMG file if you don't have a DVD-burner. Split the DMG files into pieces and burn them into CD-R or other media. Split files can protect those files. Users have to collect all your files to get the information.
