Fotopage Platinum, a Photoshop plug-in, will create contact sheets in a variety of "layouts" which are highly customizable. They can be printed vertically/horizontally, with different amounts of space between each image, and with/without caption information. A "watermark" can be incorporated into each image, which allows you to put type (like a copyright notice) over the center of each image...or you can turn it off completely. It handles a wide variety of formats and file sizes, it's MUCH faster than the contact sheet function in Photoshop, and is itself less than a 500k file.
