is a powerful set of tools for preparing and optimizing JPG, GIF and animated GIF images for the Web.
Ignite provides a wide range of tools that help you publish professional quality images on the Web.
A unique interface lets you view and compare source files and output files. This allows you to see a side-by-side view of files that are in different formats, and to view the effects of color palette changes. Ignite even has a special 256-color "as-in-browser" preview that provides an accurate representation of how your image will look in older hardware in common use on the Web.
Ignite supports animated GIFs, letting you work with animations frame-by-frame. You can modify frame properties, set the number of frames, modify frame delays, re-order frames, insert new frames at any point, and more. Ignite also optimizes your animations by removing repeated frames and minimizing the GIF frame area.
Ignite can split large images into smaller images that fit into a custom HTML table.
Other features of Ignite include the ability to: import PhotoShop files, generate thumnail images, apply a 216-color Web-safe palette or a 1331-color "extended" Web-safe color palette, apply copyright information to images, and much more.
