The program can be used to design your new home or to help you remodel your kitchen or bathroom. The easy to-use drawing tools let you sketch design concepts or create detailed, to-scale floor plans.
It comes with libraries of pre-drawn objects such as kitchen appliances, bathroom fixtures, doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture. You can also draw your own objects and save them to your own object library.
You can customize your floor plan by selecting your scale, font, color, and unit of measurement. You can also set the grid spacing, drawing size, wall-tool preferences, line-end type, and more. You can use overlays for adding plans for second and third floors, or plumbing and electrical schematics.
It features specialized design tools. The stud/beam repeater function automatically calculates (the number of boards, board feet, and area) and places rows of on-center boards.
