The program is an object-oriented authoring tool with over 55 objects, including text, images, video, sound, HTML, FTP, ActiveX, animation, calls to external DLLs, conditional branching, style sheets, and user-defined variables.

DazzlerMax features a drag-and-drop interface which allows for sophisticated creation of content with no scripting.

Any developed content can be distributed royalty-free on PCs (creates its own EXE file), or on the Web as a Java applet.

DazzlerMax suports ASCII, RTF, and Microsoft Word 6.0 documents; BMP, EPS, JPEG, PCX, PICT, PNG, PSD, TARGA, TIFF, and WMF image formats; AU, MID, MPA, RMI, SND, and WAV sound files; and AVI, MPEG, and Quicktime video file formats.

In addition, the program includes a spell checker, the ability to convert between the supported file formats, screen capturing capabilities, and the ability to scale your creation to the target distribution platform.
