It provides syntax coloring for html xhtml php javascript perl python ruby lua java ansi c and objective-c languages. Is based on regular expressions it offers different functions. In one of them find and replace it is very convenient to edit data files in plain text. Textwrangler also allows you to compare differences between files and merge files together. It supports regular expressions in perl in addition to regular expressions in perl. Pptextwrangler integrates as an external editor with xcode and supports applescript. It includes a shebang menu which provides direct access to scripting environments for unix. Files made with textwrangler can be saved in the format of the end file for mac unix dos and unicode.
