It is intended to be a simple, small and fast browser for Mac OS X.Camino is still in the beta stage of its development.
It is stable enough to use day-to-day, but you may still encounter bugs. You should always keep backup copies of important data that you use with Camino (e.g. your bookmarks file).
Camino 2.1.2
Camino is a comprehensive web browser capable of giving safari a run for its money. Gecko's rendering engine is similar to mozilla's engine. Camino improves some features already available in other browsers like the tab system in this case users can tell the browser that they want a single program. Ppthe spellcheck is another important upgrade as it checks text while you type highlighting potential mistakes. In addition camino saves browsing sessions just like in other browsers so that if it quits unexpectedly you can recover all the tabs you had open. The popup blocker is another interesting feature. It can even stop the download of flash animations. It's never been so easy to access your history and bookmarks since camino has integrated them into the same window.
