In depth
A closer look at ObjectMaker for X-Plane
It is designed specifically to work with 3D objects for Laminar Research's X-Plane flight simulator.
ObjectMaker makes it easy to read, modify and write X-Plane's '.OBJ' object definition files. It displays these objects in a window in four different views (XY, XZ, ZY and 3D view) for easy and intuitive editing.
In addition to X-Plane's point, line, triangle and quadrangle definition, ObjectMaker provides you with more advanced 3D building blocks, such as cubes, pyramids, rounds (an approximation of ovals), cylinders, and half spheres. It also knows how to convert these building blocks into a format that X-Plane understands.
