Ethnic and political tensions flare, terrorism is rampant worldwide, and third-world military dictators and malicious corporations hire anyone willing to fight for their cause. You work for Granite, a private company that hires out mercenaries like yourself to execute these dirty deeds.

In the game you are in control of 16 mercenaries, each with their own unique personality and skill sets. All the mercenaries have different combat strengths as well, and they can also crawl, crouch, climb and jump.

Each of the game's campaigns takes place in an exotic third-world locale. In each campaign you have a variety of objectives to complete, using a wide arsenal of weapons and vehicles.

For each successfully completed campaign, you are awarded monetary compensation, and more of the storyline is revealed. As the story continues to unfold, you become wrapped up in a thickening plot, rich with elements of revenge and conspiracy.
