If you open the main program you can access the official website for each app or download them directly if possible. For those who like working with this download manager you can even configure ddownloader to integrate with jdownloader. This is certainly a convenient way to find lots of new applications. It is only available in english and it is not possible to access any sort of review or data sheet for the apps.
