Cutthroats: Terror on the High Seas makes you the captain of a ship bristling with cannons. Strike terror in the hearts of your victims: board ships, ransom hostages, and sack towns. The only rules are the ones you make. Seek a Letter of Marquee and fight for king and country as a privateer or become a ruthless pirate. Either way, remember to supply your crew with rum and treasure or face a mutiny. Will you survive to retire a Pirate King? Or will you dance the hempen jig on Gallows Rock?

You will become the scourge of the seas as a bloodthirsty pirate or raid your enemy in the name of your country as a daring privateer; the choice is yours. You can customize your fleet and armies as you prepare to fight on land and sea. There are 6,000,000 miles of oceans and land to terrorize with over 70 ports to sack and pillage. Prey on hundreds of intelligent non-player ships each with a different role in the world; including trading, convoy protection and the dreaded pirate hunters. Choose your options wisely; all of your actions have consequences in this ever-evolving epic.
