Celestia is a Windows utility that allows users to explore the Universe in a 3D working environment. The program sports a clean and intuitive GUI that gives users the possibility to travel throughout the solar system, analyze stars, galaxies, planets, moons, asteroids, comets, and spacecrafts. Plus, it allows users to install plug-ins to expand the program’s functionality. Celestia lets you find information about eclipses, and you can to go to a specific object by specifying its name, coordinates, and distance. Plus, you can select from various stars, travel back in time by setting the time parameters and explore the Universe at that period, and zoom in or out.
