is a golfing game with fast, arcade-style game play.
After several years of success as a coin-operated video game, Peter Jacobsen's Golden Tee Golf finally comes to the PC.
The game features 3 beautifully landscaped 18 hole courses. Each course is populated with objects that interact realistically and predictably with your ball. Hitting a tree trunk, for example, produces a very different effect than knocking the ball through the leaves. You can make skill shots between -- and even through -- trees, bushes, and other obstacles. As well, changing pin and tee placements, plus variable wind velocity and green contour, give the courses new replay value on every hole.
The game also features a variety of special effects (including fog, reflections, multi-layered shadows, etc.), detailed artwork of PGA pro golfer Peter Jacobsen (which has been digitally captured), proprietary "TrackSwing" technology that lets you swing naturally using the mouse, realistic sound effects (varied crowd reactions, a hushed announcer, and natural ambient background sounds), and more.
