TextDb gives you full text search capabilities in databases such as: Access, Oracle, SQL Server, and FoxPro. It also supports the indexing and searching of plain text files. With it you can make full text searches in tables with millions of rows quickly. It supports prefix, suffix, free, fuzzy and soundex searching.

When TextDb does a text search, it uses "text index files" generated from data in the database. TextDb has updateable indexes, so the index files are updated instantly to reflect any changes to the database.

TextDb makes it possible to distribute a large amount of data to the Internet or to CD-Roms.
