INM's SecureNet Xtra is the only Xtra that allows Director applications to communicate across a secure proxy server.
Ability to access secure http servers (HTTPS) outside the browser environment. Performs https queries from within Director at authoring time and from projectors at runtime.
Expands capabilities of NetLingo: SecureNet Xtra supports the most essential features of NetLingo, and expands NetLingo's capabilities when it comes to secure Internet transactions. However, there are some differences to be noted, and some features have not been implemented for version 1.x.
Lightweight 128K solution — can be used without adding significantly to your project's size. 80K for Shockwave download.
Easy to use: No Lingo scripting required when you use the accompanying Behaviors. Advanced features can be scripted if needed.
Automatic detection of proxy server settings - Can optionally detect the proxy server IP Address and Port number from the user's Internet settings.
Free Behaviors, included with the Xtra, allow you to implement the essential functionality with drag and drop ease.
Tutorials and samples are provided to give you hands-on learning experience.
