is a puzzle game with multiple modes, all based on grouping similar-colored bubbles.
The main objective of Bust-A-Move 4 is shooting colored bubbles into clusters of other bubbles. When a bubble makes contact with two or more bubbles of the same color, they pop. The object of each stage is to pop all the bubbles before the timer reaches zero or the bubbles get too low. Sound easy? That is exactly what Bob, Bub and all their new friends were hoping you would say!
Keep the bubbles in balance with the new pulley mechanism. A pulley consists of two bubble-laden anchor blocks attached to a rope; popping bubbles attached to each anchor block will cause the heavier side to fall and the lighter side to rise. Bury opponents with a devastating new "Chain Reaction" system. Dropped bubbles will actually home-in on other bubbles and prolong the chain reaction, allowing players to stage devastating combos and quickly turn the tide of victory.
There are over 600 single-player levels including arcade, puzzle, story and challenge modes, which offer hours of gameplay and replay ability. Head-to-head mode allows for breathtaking bubble duels over the Internet or split-screen on one computer. There are nine new characters, each with its own set of strengths, weaknesses, range of emotions and distinct voices. You can also create your own custom puzzles with new Edit Mode for both the single-player and two-player games. Irresistible Japanese anime graphics along with hypnotic sound effects offer mindboggling, puzzle-packed gameplay.
