This is an excellent programming option for c pcode blocks. It consists of an open source multiplatform integrated development environment that supports using multiple compilers including gcc mingw gnu gcc msvc digital mars borland c 5. 5 and open watcom. Mingw is the default compiler that comes with this code block package. Code blocks can be extended using plug-ins. It has a fast personalized construction system that does not require makefiles and allows you to perform parallel constructions on systems with a multicore cpu.
