A closer look at DataBasic
The history of DataBasic ascends from the task that is often negligible by client/server database developers. When database structure including tables, constraints and business logic implemented with usage of SQL, stored procedures, etc… is prepared it is desirable to check the behavior of database without completing a client GUI implementation. Or in most probable situations there is a necessity to supplement GUI database development (which definitely includes means of high-level database access) with simple framework allowing the following specific tasks accomplishing: - easily work with datatypes maximally close to native server datatypes and at the same time convenient for operations common for high-level programming language; - easily establish multiple connections to server database and simulating concurrent operations against the server with simple synchronization mechanism; - way of gathering manifold debugging information which embraces database error messages, time of execution, explain plans, etc… - simple way of displaying all above information;
